Description

In this vlog, I show you the new condo that Gift and I just moved into, which has the most spectacular views of Bangkok Thailand. I was recently asked the question, "When I first moved to Thailand and decided to live away from the tourist and expats area, did I get it all wrong" This is my Answer. "I didn't get it wrong at all. Life is a dance and you learn as you go. I moved to Thailand with a few things in mind. I wanted to live in the city but not around the tourist area "aka expat areas". I wanted to immerse myself in a Thai community and find out how the Thai people live and I wanted to travel outside of the tourist areas. I did all of those things that I wanted and I'm still traveling throughout Thailand as planned. After being here now for a little over 7 months reality has set in. Most of the time when Gift and I go anywhere, whether it's to go shopping, meet friends and Subscribers, visit Gift's family home or go to check out some places to film for my YouTube hobby, we find ourselves sitting in Taxis, BTS and the MRT's. Also after doing my cost of living vlog, it finally hit me, I worked hard all my life and I deserve to live in the comfort that I can afford during my retirement years. Therefore, I decided to move within a 15 walk to the nearest BTS and life is much easier now. I now have more time to relax and I also get to enjoy some great amenities. I get to do all of this and much more, for just a few hundred dollar more a month. Would I change anything if I had to do it all over again? Not at all". Thank you for watching.
